MANUFACTURING PROCEDURE & QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN:
Our production / manufacturing procedure, we carried step-wise internal Inspection to assure
perfect Quality of our Products. We have defined our Manufacturing process in Annexure – V
Material / Manufacturing Flow Chart.
01) RAW MATERIAL INWARD:
After receiving the raw material at works following procedures are carried out.
1) Checking the Thickness, Schedule & Size of the Material.
2) Verifying the Manufacture’s identification, marks with Certificates.
3) Sending samples for Laboratory Testing to assure the order specification.
02) CUTTING OF RAW MATERIAL:
Raw material is cut either length wise or weight wise depending on the item to be
manufactured, we check the cut lengths or weight of the cut piece we also ensure that
the any inter mixing of different Quality / Lots of raw material is not done.
03) FORGING DEPARTMENT:
All pipe fitting items to be manufactured involves forging accompanied by heating
fully or partly. This depends on item to be manufactured. Items can be either solid
forging or hollow forging. After forging process we check for any surface defects
developed during the forging process. If there are any die marks grinding is carried
out. For surface material damaged rectification is done by welding as per code
requirements.
04) HEAT TREATMENT:
After forging heat treatment is carried out to regain the correct physical strength.
Procedure for heat treatment depends on the type of forging material i.e. Carbon steel,
Alloy steel or Stainless steel. We assure that the correct procedure is adopted, heating
rate, final temperature, cooling rate, bath temperature in case of solution analyzing.
05) MACHINING:
After heat treatment machining is carried out on lathe machines, after machining the
dimensions such as thickness, outside diameter, inside diameter quality, thickness
variation, length and center distance are checked as per relevant codes.
06) STAMPING & VARNISHING:
Material is stamped with heat no., lot no., specification of material with size pressure
ratings / schedule and then it is varnished and send for dispatch or stores.
