He currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Director of Government Relations at the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber, where he manages staff and implements the organization's strategy. Previously, he held roles in government, including nine years working for Congressman John Dingell as a district administrator and campaign manager. LaBarre also has a Master's in Public Administration and currently serves on the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners.
