Andrew has been a community organiser for over twenty-five years, both in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Andrew has been recognised for his work by becoming a Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia in 2013. Andrew received an AM for significant service to the community and social justice through the provision of access to technology, and to Timor Leste. Andrew has also been recognised internationally, including winning the prestigious Stockholm Challenge Award in 2001.
