After giving a brief overview of what Scrum is (motivation, roles, items and meetings), Andreas Ebbert-Karroum presents the problems the expert group of JSR 264 was facing with "standard operating procedure" mode for running an expert group (email and phone). Scrum was seen as a possible outcome of the unproductive state of collaboration, this presentation includes the challenges that were met on the way and the benefits the team gained from using Scrum.
