THE COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE, was a troup of actors in 1650,
who would travel around Italy, to perform commedies
outdoors. Due to their success, eventually, they even were
invited by quot;The Royalityquot;, to perform in their Palaces.
The characters they used, were often the same...and, were
the inspiration to the following collection of paintings...
Harlequin, was the Acrobat and the lover of Colombine.
Pierrot, was the Dreamer; the Nostalgic Clown...
