Leo Pearlman, a producer and executive producer for the production company, ‘Fullwell73’.
This talk has introduced me to the opportunities there are out there, even for those starting off in
the City of Sunderland. With this, I believe I have been given more of on an insight to the industry
getting to learn where these industry professionals had started off compared to where they are
now working on such projects as the Netflix original, ‘Sunderland Til I Die’.
Before this talk it appeared as if there were very little opportunities for those trying to make their
start in the industry, but now I can see there are plenty around that are wanting to help, even
offering a potential apprenticeship to anyone interested.
Being my first real networking experience, I look forward to meeting more industry professionals
and getting to learn and understand more about what it takes to become and be a filmmaker.
