about my work:
I believe, architecture shapes peoples habits and this belief brings with it a great sense of responsibility while developing concepts. being an architect, I try to
understand and experience different cultures and traditions. after-all, we are serving a society, the people. I like to experiment while designing. I constantly try
to apply technologies that help make buildings smarter and environment friendly. I believe in emphasizing on details which form an exciting aspect of
architecture. According to me, detailed working drawings is the prerequisite for correct execution of an architects' idea and vision. I like modern, simple and
contempory style of architecture.
projects listed in this portfolio are projects I have designed in the last 4-5 years. concepts have been designed after interacting with the clients to understand
their needs and briefs for the project. The skyline of muscat is known for maintaining its’ traditional style of architecture but things are changing since the past
4-5 years. more and more people are traveling abroad which is changing their architectural perception. people are opening up to the idea of a modern and
contempory style of architecture which is being practiced in other parts of the gulf region. this for me, was an exciting opportunity to start designing buildings
in the contemporary style. though this was not the style of our office (TOCI),we are changing with the demand and trends of the market.( inspite of the fact
that the inclination of my firm is towards the traditional style of architecture, we are now opting for newer and more modern styles of designing due to
current trends and demands of our clients)
