Insufficient planning of marketing centrally and no visibility in what marketing
activities actually pay off.
Marketing team is located around the world and each region is running a bit of
their “own show”. Therefore budget control is difficult.

OceanCorp sales are visiting ships in ports to establish contacts. Quite often
meetings happen informallyand notes are captured on pen & paper.
This information rarely ends up in the CRM. Important vessel information
would be important to capture for future reference and to position relevant
products going forward.

Proposals are not unified across the organization and this poses a significant
risk and errors in deliveries since terms are not unified and there is no
transparency between sales, services and deliveries what has been

There is often a lot of collaboration between the customer and OceanCorp on
