Objective: To develop a new technology for production enhancement based on the
latest development of ultrasound and information technology.
Product: Complex ultrasonic influence on the oil reservoir (USIOR Complex)
Patent AWLT №2521094 was granted on 10 April 2013

4. The Downhole Acoustic Device (DAD) and Geophysical
Downhole Device (GDD) are run in combination in the
well:
 To clean the production zones from formation damage
(fine migrations and scales, asphaltenes & paraffin
deposits) and to reduce the skin factor

wells is similar to that of the logging & perforating
procedure.

The emitters within the DAD are connected by a special
design that provides greater flexibility of the device, so
that it can be spooled onto a drum, similar to the coil
tubing. This stackable configuration can be made up to
50 m of emitters.
The most relevant application of this
configuration is for a deployment in
horizontal wells (e.g. shale oil).
There are about 3,000 wells in North
Dakota (USA) requiring this
treatment.
