2. The school’s vision
Our school has as main aim life long
learning, that is both satisfying our
students‟ informational and social needs;
thinking of the present from a future
perspective and determining our students
to become tolerant involved active
citizens.
3. About our school
Human resources: 54 qualified teachers (92% of them highly
involved in their professional training). Our students have good
results in different competitions; 98% promovability rate; they are
involved in different extracurricular activities and educational
projects in collaboration with the local community.
Material resources: 19 classrooms fully and adequately equipped;
computer lab with non stop internet connection; 2 science labs; 2
gyms; a library and other electonical equipment necessary to the
teaching process ( video projectors; laptops; CD players)
Financial resources: Local funds and extra resources: donations;
rent; sponsorships; EU funding for multilateral project.

voluntaries’ club
21 members aged 13-15
weekly meetings: play games, read stories
meant to build their character and civic spirit.
every 3 months Impact 29 develops a project
to help the community.
7. Big Brother/Big Sister
We invited 20 children that come from
very poor families assisted by the „Heart
of a Child‟ Foundation in Galati to spend
the day together at the zoo. We saw the
animals, played games, had a picnic and
made new friends.

9. Imp Eco 29
Our second project was an environmental
one. The Impact members went for a trip in
the mountains to clean the reservation Tisita.
We went there prepared for hard work and a
good time. We handed the tourists some
leaflets and fliers and asked them to help us
keep the environment clean and healthy.

11. English has always been fun to
teach, and this is how the idea of
organizing ‘English Through Acting’
Drama Festival came to our mind
almost 4 years ago.

• Live – for those willing to perform
on stage/ in our city
• CD/DVD for those schools from
different cities in the country.

has first come out in 1984, consists exclusively of
the students‟ work, has been awarded in the last
two years the Special Award in the School
Magazines Contest in our city.
