and private equity, Brian is an expert in deal structuring and is known

Dr Williamson has an academic background in contaminant
hydrogeology and 20 years’ experience in the provision of
environmental, health and safety, and social advisory, appraisal and
consulting services. He has worked in the Eurasia region since 1991,
leading the EHS consulting services team of URS in the Emerging
Markets Countries, the Environmental Practice in Europe for Marsh,
and as a Partner, the Transaction Services team in Europe, Africa
and the Middle East for Environmental Resources Management, the
world’s leading pure EHS consulting firm. Dr. Williamson currently
assists the Bank in active mining sector investments in Bulgaria,
Turkey, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan; as well as Russia and
Mongolia.
