Two months ago they asked me to prepare a 15 minutes presentation imagining the Future of the workplace; it was a friday late afternoon at the beginning of October; the live presentation was going to be scheduled 2 work days later, the next wednesday; so few time to prepare it but no problem, I've learned from the past years that the time you have is the time they give you, no less, no more. Starting a presentation from zero for imagining something new seems so easy once you can see the result, when you can discuss about both already connected dots and imagined forecast; when you can start arguing and disagreeing about something collected and presented in a clear way. But you know what's an hard job is finding the dots, the trends, evaluating your sources and than to decide and to design how to connect them in a path that make sense and have a strong purpose keeping at the same time the story plausible. That's my result, the many references I uused are all showed in one of the last slide: I read reports from Ellen Mac Arthur Foundation, Arup, Bene, The future Laboratory, PwC, Steelcase, HP, Regus and many other. Why did I imagine that? because I always keep in my mind that "imagination is more important than knowledge"
