CIRCUMETNEA WEEKEND IN SICILY 8-11 OCTOBER 2021 THURSDAY 8 OCTOBER • Arrival and check in @Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo (3 pm) • Afternoon and night at leisure FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER • Breakfast @Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo • 10.00 – 17.00: excursion to Etna aperitiv on board of the Circumetnea Guests will discover Etna from an unconventional point of view: on board of the historical train called Circumetnea. Starting the tour from the Medieval town of Randazzo, here guests will meet Giovanna in her cosy bar showing the method of the ancient handmade granita. Leaving from Randazzo station, guests will then be on board of the Circumetnea red train (the "Cafittera" - coffee pot in Sicilian dialect- as the old steam train was used to be called by Sicilians) taking guests through old lava flows till Fischetti winery where a wine tasting awaits. • Night at leisure SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER • Breakfast and day at leisure @Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo • 20.00: Wine night - tasting menu at Otto Geleng by chef Roberto Toro pairing with Etna wines and meeting the winemaker SUNDAY 11 OCTOBER Day at leisure @Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo and check out (12 am)
