As a part of Tim-Inzenjering Sistem I was
involved in producing complete set of
technical documentation including final
structural design.
Overall facility worth is €30 million.
The factory compound covers 15.5 ha in
Becej's industrial zone, houses the most
recent equipment and technology and is
capable of an output of 10,000 tons of corn
seed.
Facility was opened by Serbian Prime
Minister.

Serbia's Oil industry NIS was sold to Russian
giant GAZPROM so they requested
modernization of existing onshore drill rig
facilities.
Consulting and design were awarded
to TIM.
As a part of Tim Inzenjering's structural
engineering department I was responsible
for site planning, structural design and
detailing of all existing continental drilling
rigs facilities (Continental EMSCO, IDECO 5,
IDECO 6, IDECO 7).

Our mission was to plan facilities' layout,
maintenance and HSE procedures, design
all structural elements down to detail level.
Scope of work included site planning, close
collaboration with client's (NIS GAZPROM)
engineers (especially we worked close with
mud engineers).
Result is entirely renewed drilling rig facilities
for national Oil company designed by
latest western standards, as per client
request.

6. Waste Water Treatment plant

The project for the biological wastewater
treatment plant (WWTP) in the Municipality
of Budva/Montenegro, included the
infrastructure required for the construction
and commissioning of the plant, site
leveling, slope protection, regulation of the
creek bed and access roads. Client was
WTE (EVN group).

Client (National Oil Company) was facing
problems with maintaining of their facilities
as extensions were done through the
decades without proper planning and
many of crucial points on their production
lines were inaccessible.
This called for immediate action in
providing ingenious solutions of
constructing working platforms in a middle
of production lines, in a very complicated
and hazardous environment.
Over 500 working platforms were designed.
Project was done in phases:
Very thorough site survey was
conducted for each location,
assessing the best way to access
the point of interest and noting all
surrounding obstacles.
Detailed 3D models were
developed for each platform
complying with Client HSE and
other specs.
MTOs and details were produced.

Structural aseismic and static analysis,
reinforcement detailing, construction
supervision of more than 20 buildings and
private residences.
As Serbia is seismically very active area,
most demanding task was to design
construction with sufficient capabilities to
withstand such an action but at the same
time to comply with architect demands.

3D Models were formed for structural
analysis.
Depending on available time and
complexity of the structure I have used
either Tower (Radimpex software) or
Etabs.
General arrangement drawings were
usually done as 2D drawings in AutoCAD,
or as 3D models in Graitec Concrete
software.
For the most of the buildings I did
reinforcement detailing as well.

northern Kazakhstan, through the

19. In-line Petrol Blending system,

GAZPROM invested 10 million of euros in
this project.
Worked on designing of facilities for in-line
blending at Pancevo Oil Rafinery which
was part of modernisation of rafaniery
processing.
This project enabled increase in
production capabilities of oil processing
by 4.9 millions of ton/year to and
production of Euro 5 grade diesel.
For this to be possible new operating
facilities had to be built such as MHC
(mild hydrocracking complex).
My team and I were in charge of site
planning and collaboration with
mechanical and oil engineers from
Ludan Engineering in order to design
concrete and steel facilities.

Ecocoast Contracting llc was contractor
on temporary Geocontainers revetment
on northern part of the Bluewaters Island.
450 m long wall with 8 rows of Geobags is
constructed. I was involved in post-
construction review and stability
assessment.
Wall is subjected to high wave impact
and developing precise mathematical
model for calculation of its stability was a
demanding task considering lack of
standards.
I developed in-house software for
assessment of Sandbags wall stability
which I turned into one of a kind publicly
accessible online calculator (see next
project).
