Newman:
“Let
me
give
you
a
little
bit
of
a
background
about
what
I
do
and
how
I
came
to
be
where
I
am
today
with
the
stem
cells.
When
I
first
did
my
internship,
I
was
very
interested
in
hormones,
fat,
diabetes,
and
obesity.
I
then
did
my
dermatology
residency,
which
also
related
to
these
same
areas
of
interest.
There
had
been
a
lot
of
surgeries
done
with
fat
in
regards
to
these
diseases
and
I
began
to
study
the
different
ways
that
people
where
conducting
these.
When
I
did
my
cosmetic
surgery
fellowship,
I
obviously
learned
all
the
traditional
ways
of
doing
surgery.
I
studied
under
different
teachers
and
different
doctors,
learning
how
each
one
would
administer
their
own
unique
treatments.
One
of
the
treatments
that
I
became
really
fascinated
with
were
the
fat-­‐grafting
treatments.
These
treatments
had
a
poor
reputation–the
fat
that
was
injected
was
not
very
well
received
by
the
body
and
would
only
last
about
three
months
before
disappearing,
leading
to
very
poor
results.
Therefore,
these
fat-­‐grafting
treatments
were
not
very
popular
with
the
public.
During
my
training,
I
learned
that
there
were
many
different
ways
of
doing
these
treatments.
One
of
the
ways
that
we
decided
to
use
in
my
practice
that
was
more
acceptable
to
me
was
to
manipulate
the
tissues
as
little
as
possible.
So,
a
lot
of
people
began
to
take
fat
out
of
the
body
and
put
it
into
sieves
and
gauze.
They
washed
it
and
did
many
other
things
to
it
but
weren’t
getting
very
good
results
once
they
put
it
back
in.
We
decided
was
to
take
a
different
approach
by
extracting
it
from
the
body,
putting
it
into
a
syringe,
and
then
injecting
it
back
in.
During
the
last
ten
to
fifteen
years
that
I’ve
been
doing
this,
I’ve
gotten
much
better
results
in
comparison
to
my
colleagues
who
were
not
doing
this.
Five
years
ago,
I
figured
out
why.
The
reason
that
my
procedures
were
getting
better
results
was
because
we
were
keeping
the
stem
cells
and
re-­‐injecting
them
back
into
the
body
instead
of
simply
washing
them
away.
When
I
figured
out
that
this
was
the
reason
why
our
fat
was
taking
better,
I
just
went
one
step
further
and
said
to
myself,
“Why
don’t
we
just
take
these
stem
cells
and
double
them,
triple
them
even,
and
then
inject
them
back
into
the
body
to
get
the
results?”
At
this
same
time,
we
were
also
using
fiberglass
on
wound
care
related
skin
grafts
for
patients
with
diabetes
and
ulcers;
we
decided
to
switch
from
fiberglass
to
stem
cells
for
the
fat.
The
stem
cells
from
the
fat
are
very
unique.
Fat
contains
the
most
concentrated
amount
of
stem
cells
than
any
other
body
part.
Stem
cells
from
fat
are
able
to
do
many
things
that
other
stem
cells
are
not
able
to
do.
They
are
able
to
become
muscle,
bone,
cartilage,
and
the
sheath
around
the
nerve
endings
without
us
having
to
manipulate
them
in
laboratory
because
this
is
how
they
are
programmed
genetically.
Stem
cells
from
other
parts
of
the
body,
like
the
blood
and
the
cord
blood,
are
not
able
to
do
the
same
thing
as
they
generally
become
blood
derived
products.
So,
when
we
took
these
stem
cells
from
the
fat
and
put
them
on
the
wounds,
we
saw
that
the
wounds
began
to
heal
and
the
skin
was
getting
better.
When
we
began
doing
the
stem
cell
lift
and
we
doubled
and
tripled
our
stem
cells,
we
also
observed
that
the
skin
was
getting
better.
Let
me
show
you
some
of
these
pictures
so
you
see
how
this
functions,
and
then
I’ll
talk
about
how
this
all
translated
into
what
Luminesce™
is
today
and
why
it
works.

So,
here
is
someone
who
has
lost
volume
in
their
face.
In
the
past,
we
used
to
think
this
was
because
of
the
bags
under
people’s
eyes.
We
now
know
that
everybody
has
bags
under
their
eyes
because
that’s
the
fat
that
supports
the
eyeballs.
When
we
change
our
weight,
especially
when
we
lose
weight
and
age,
we
lose
fat
on
our
cheeks,
which

fat
under
the
eyes
protrude
a
lot
more.
These
concepts
are
changing
cosmetic
surgery–we
realize
now
that
it’s
not
just
pulling
and
making
things
tighter,
but
rather
filling
and
adding
more
volume
that
gives
skin
that
youthful
look.
When
you
take
this
approach,
you
transform
a
person
into
a
much
younger,
healthier
looking
person.
This
is
just
12
days
after
and
she’s
not
bruised,
so
she’s
able
to
go
out
and
do
all
the
things
that
she
would
normally
do.
She
would
not
be
able
to
do
this
with
traditional
surgery.
Additionally,
she
would
need
an
eye
surgery,
a
cheek
implant,
and
a
lot
of
procedures
that
we
don’t
do
anymore.
The
stem
cells
are
just
starting
to
work.
It’s
going
to
take
about
three
months
for
those
stem
cells
to
incorporate
into
the
tissues
and
to
continue
to
give
her
improvement.

Here
is
another
patient.
She
has
a
lot
of
hollowness
here.
She
is
an
avid
marathon
runner
who
has
lost
a
lot
of
the
volume
in
her
face
because
she
is
very
athletic.
When
we
put
it
back
in
four
days
later,
she
looks
much
more
youthful.
If
you
take
a
look
at
her
nose
and
lips,
which
I
didn’t
actually
touch,
you
will
notice
that
the
proportions
have
changed
and
she
looks
a
lot
more
balanced.
The
proportion
of
her
nose
to
her
cheeks
makes
her
nose
actually
look
smaller
even
though
we
didn’t
touch
it.

Here’s
someone
who
had
a
facelift
10
years
ago
didn’t
like
the
way
they
looked
when
they
were
on
television.
They
were
being
told
that
they
looked
tired,
unhealthy,
and
not
as
young
in
comparison
to
her
colleagues.
We
put
the
stem
cells
here
under
her
eyes
and
next
to
the
mouth,
and
didn’t
touch
her
lips
or
her
nose.
She
is
now
much
more
youthful
and
better
looking
in
appearance.
This
is
two
years
after
and
she
has
had
very
good
results.
She
looks
very
natural.
You
wouldn’t
see
her
in
the
streets
and
think
that
she
has
plastic
surgery.
This
woman
also
had
children
and
complained
that
she
didn’t
enjoy
things
the
way
she
used
to
before
she
had
them,
so
we
took
the
stem
cells
and
actually
injected
them
into
the
vaginal
canal–her
cells
were
rejuvenated
in
this
area
as
well.
Her
comment
was
it
should
be
mandatory
for
everyone
to
do
this
after
having
children.

Now
this
is
what
I
have
the
passion
for.
This
is
a
patient
who
has
skin
cancer
and
you
just
saw
the
video
for
him.
He
couldn’t
get
anyone
to
fix
him
using
the
traditional
methods
of
reconstructive
surgery
because
there
were
no
blood
vessels
here.
All
the
radiation
had
killed
off
his
blood
vessels
and
every
time
they
would
try
to
cut
into
this
area
to
fill
it
they
would
start
to
die
off.
The
skin
didn’t
have
enough
blood
flow
to
it.
What
we
did
was
to
bring
in
the
stem
cells
from
the
corner
here,
gradually
filling
this
area
in
and
building
all
the
necessary
blood
vessels.
It
took
me
two
years
to
do
this,
but
when
you
touch
his
jaw
now,
it’s
hard.
When
you
touch
up
here,
it’s
soft.
I
didn’t
do
that,
the
stem
cells
did–they
know
what
to
do.
Keep
in
mind
this
man’s
skin
was
very
damaged
by
the
radiation
and
it
looked
terrible.
His
skin
now
looks
almost
normal
because
of
the
stem
cell
treatments.
You
would
not
be
able
to
get
these
results
with
any
type
of
reconstructive
surgery.
Some
of
the
other
benefits
are
that
you
can
use
this
on
all
skin
colors
and
you
don’t
have
to
worry
about
any
type
discoloration
or
any
of
the
issues
with
keloid
scars.

is
someone
who
didn’t
have
a
lot
of
jaw
and
wanted
to
get
a
jaw
implant.
She
came
to
me
and
I
told
her
that
we
could
do
this
without
doing
any
type
of
surgery.
We
made
the
correction
using
the
stem
cells
instead
and
this
is
right
after.
I’ve
seen
her
a
few
times
since
this
and
she
looks
fantastic.
Her
jaw
will
move
the
way
she
wants
it
to
and
it
will
change
with
her
over
time
as
she
ages,
always
looking
in
proportion
to
her
body.

another
patient.
She
had
some
aging
issues
and
lost
some
volume.
However,
what
really
struck
me
was
her
skin.
Look
at
the
texture
here
and
here.
That
is
the
result
of
stem
cells
that
communicated
with
the
body

told

skin
to
rejuvenate.

Here
is
somebody
who
has
a
lot
of
sun
damage
and
doesn’t
have
a
very
good
jaw
line.
Here,
we
used
stem
cells
and
she
got
her
jaw
line
back.
Her
skin
has
also
improved
quite
a
bit.
Keep
in
mind
though,
that
this
is
not
a
miracle
and
we’re
not
going
to
be
able
to
reverse
everything.
However,
her
skin
is
better.
You
would
not
be
able
to
improve
the
skin
and
get
everything
looking
like
this
just
by
doing
a
facelift
alone.
While
a
facelift
would
tighten
the
skin,
all
the
lines
would
still
be
there
because
they
are
creases
in
the
skin.

we
did
the
lips
and
the
laugh
lines
we
had
good
results.
Here,
I’m
showing
you
how
people
get
less
swollen
and
some
people
get
more
swollen
immediately
following
the
procedure.

We
can
also
use

stem
cells
on
men.
Men
don’t
like
to
have
anyone
know
that
they’ve
done
anything,
so
the
stem
cells
are
a
great
approach
because
there
are
no
scars
and
they
don’t
have
to
worry
about
hiding

hairline
and
looking
different.

We

also
do
the
hands–basically,
you
can
do
any
body
part
that
you
want.
The
telltale
sign
with
any
person
is
that
they
typically
improve
their
face
and
forget
about
their
hands,
so
I
generally
try
to
match
the
face
to
the
hands
so
you
can’t
tell.

Here
is
someone
who
didn’t
like
their
nose
and
had
a
little
loss
of
volume.
You
can
see
where
everything
sort
of
fell
down.
We
did
her
nose
and
her
under-­‐eyes
and
everything
got
lifted
back
up.
Her
nose
is
straighter,
but
it
doesn’t
look
bigger
because
the
proportions
have
changed–it
actually
looks
smaller.
The
whole
concept
is
now
focusing
around
proportions
and
volume.
All
this
was
done
without
any
surgery;
she
got
right
back
off
the
table
and
went
back
to
work.
She
was
actually
my
nurse.

This
is
how
we
got
to
here,
where
we
are
today.
We
continued
to
see
improvements
with
each
treatment
we
did
on
burn
victims
and
people
with
ulcers.
In
the
laboratory,
when
we
were
growing
all
these
cells,
we
saw
that
these
cells
actually
communicate
with
one
another.
I
don’t
know
if
anyone
has
heard
about
Latisse®
and
all
these
eyelash
products
that
have
come
out,
but
they’re
basically
all
here
because
of
prostaglandins.
They
took
all
these
things
that
the
cells
produce
and
they
said
“Oh,
this
one
does
this
and
this
one
does
this,”
and
they’re
all
chemical
reactions.
The
cells
that
we
used
to
make
Luminesce™
in
the
laboratory
are
stem
cells.
When
you
put
them
in
the
laboratory,
they
talk
to
each
other
using
a
language
called
chemical
language.
Our
bodies
and
our
cells
use
chemical
language
to
talk
to
each
other.
We
use
words,
and
our
cells
use
chemicals.
These
chemicals
include
cytokines,
interleukins,
prostaglandins,
and
growth
factors.
We
took
all
these
basic
language
materials
that
were
being
produced
in
the
laboratory
by
these
cells
and
we
bottled
it.
There
are
no
cells
or
live
tissue
in
Luminsce™,
but
it
is
a
live
product.
Here
is
the
difference:
there
are
no
cells
in
the
product,
but
everything
that
is
in
there
is
produced
by
a
cell.
When
you
grow
these
cells
in
a
laboratory,
no
two
cells
are
alike,
just
as
no
two
people
are
alike.
So,
every
time
we
grow
them,
we’re
going
to
have
different
batches,
and
every
time
we
do
a
cycle
in
the
laboratory
to
get
these
stem
cell
products,
we
are
going
to
have
a
little
bit
of
variation.
However,
the
variation
is
minimal
and
the
product
is
still
within
the
norm.
The
batches
are
tested
to
make
sure
they
contain
all
the
proper
amounts
of
ingredients,
but
there
may
be
a
small
amount
of
color
variation
from
batch
to
batch.
Luminesce™
is
a
live
product
and
this
is
the
reason
it
works.
When
you
apply
Luminesce™
to
your
skin,
the
cytokines
and
interleukins,
which
are
the
communication
methods
that
the
cells
are
using,
are
introduced
to
your
skin.
They’re
going
to
go
into
your
cells
and
tell
them
to
rejuvenate,
rebuild,
and
renew
themselves,
and
that’s
why
you’re
going
to
get
the
improvements.
A
lot
of
people
are
getting
improvements
in
their
pores,
skin
texture,
and
the
overall
feel
of
their
skin
as
well.
However,
it
takes
time
for
these
cells
to
replicate
collagen.
Although
it
takes
between
three
to
six
months
to
see
the
results,
some
people
feel
the
change
much
sooner.
Let’s
take

look
at
some
of

data
that
we
have–88%
saw
that
the
improvement
in
their
skin
got
better,
75%
saw
that

texture
was
smoother
and
nicer,
70%
said
their
skin
was
firmer,
though
that
does
takes
a
little
bit
longer,
and
70%
said
the
fine
lines
got
better.
We’re
not
talking
about
the
deep
lines
here–those
are
the
creases
that
I
showed
you
that
we
couldn’t
even
fix
with
surgery–but
rather
the
fine
lines,
and
those
will
get
better.

cover

or
all
of

other
things
that
are
necessary
for
good

what’s

goal

signal

first
question
that
has

asked
is
the

discussed
the
stem

Can
you
correlate
that
with
the
product

Basically,
we
are
using
true
stem
cells,
meaning,
the
cells
themselves.
We’re
taking
the
cells
from
the
fat,
separating
it
out,
and
then
injecting
it
back
into
the
body.
The
cells
are
producing
what
is
in
Luminese™,
but
there

no
cells
in
Luminesce™.
Does
this
make
sense?
In
the
laboratory,
we
grow
the
stem
cells
and
the
language

earlier

we

I

know
if
you
remember
when
I
was
showing

slides
with

percentages.
That
was
actually
a
study
that
was
done
on
the
product
and
that
study
was
basically
showing
how
people
who
use
the
product
under
controlled
circumstances
benefited
from
the
product.
If
you
want
scientific
studies
in
terms
of
biopsies
and
looking
at
it
under
a
microscope,
it’s
hard
to
do
this
in
a
cosmetic
setting.
How
many
of
you
are
willing
to
have
a
scar
on
your
face?
Technically,
I
could
do
this
and
put
the
scar
on
their
arms,
but
for
cosmetic
reasons,
most

not
willing
to

scar.
However,

of

other
things
that

healing–there
is

of

beings

to

this

with

of
the

of
“embryonic”
stem

technology
used
to

Regarding
the
age
spot
question–most
age
spots
are
from
sun
exposure,
though
some
skin
discoloration
is
from
different
post-­‐inflammatory
changes.
Let’s
say
for
example,
you
get
acne,
a
rash,

burn,
and
then
you
get
discoloration
afterwards.
Another
example
would
be
malassezia
or
other
spots
that
can
occur
from
hormonal
changes
that
are
causing
skin
discoloration.
These
spots
are
not
all
the
same
and
the
cause
will
really
dictate
what

results
will
be.

had

people
and
patients
come
up
to
me
and
say
they’re
using

is
getting
better,
and

discoloration

also

tell

everything
on

skin

not
going

the
cause
will
dictate
what

will

to

it’s
acidic;

neutral,
and
anything

it
is
acidic.
Your
skin
is
at
a
pH
of
5.5,
which
is
ideal–that’s
where
you
want
it
to
be.
If
we
want
to
put
a
cream
on
the
skin
to
make
it
better,
we
want
it
to
be
the
same
pH.
You
want
it
to
be
below
7
and
about
at
5.5,
and
you
don’t
want
to
go
too
far
below
this
because
you

start
to
peel.
If

want
it
to
improve
your
skin
tone,
you
will
need
it
to
be
around
5.5.
When
we
get
the
stem
cells
to

this
product,
that’s
where
we
are
ideally
putting
it
in–at
5.5.
If

take
this
product,
bottle
it,
and
put
it
in
the
refrigerator,
it’s
probably
going

maintain
longer

were
to
put

in

hot
sun

denature

color
changes
that
you’re
seeing
are
due
to
the
pH
indicator
that
we
put
in
the
product
at
the
laboratory.
We’re
going
to
take
that
indicator
out
so
that
no
one

worry
about
that
anymore.

main
thing
to
keep
in
mind
with
regards
to
the
pH
of
the
product
is
that
we
keep
it
within
the
proper
parameter
to
ensure
that
we
continue
to
get
the
same
sort
of
product
consistently.

bottle
the
product,

check
each
batch
to
make
sure
that
these
parameters
are
correct.
Again,
if
you’re
going
to
expose
the
product
to
heat,
it’s

denature

to

as
effective
as
long

Remember
that
this
is
a
live
product
and
it’s
talking

cells.
If
you
have
some
issue
in
the
area
that
you’re
treating,
those
cytokines,
interleukins,
or
whatever
process
is
going
on
in

skin,

interacting
with
Luminesce™
and
the
product
is
trying
to
heal
it.

tell

cells

heal

Sometimes,
one
of

ways

body
heals
itself

reactions
to

on
your
skin.
Generally,
because
it's

natural
product,
I

seen

person

whose

reaction
to

heard

people
have
had
some

Actually,
there
are
products
that
can
give
you
immediate
results,
though
they’re
only
topical

not

made
so
that
they
will
tighten

skin

away
once

after
a
few
hours,
the
effects
goes
away.
The
effects
are
not
in
the
skin,
but
rather

The
difference
here
is
that
we’re
affecting
inside
the
skin

not
on
top

we’re
penetrating
into
the
skin

time
for
processes
to

result
