4. The Challenge:
A heavily damaged concrete car park floor needed
to be repaired and re-coated.
The work could only be accomplished outside
normal working days and working hours.

5. The solution:
Installing the Ktisopur Car Park System
Main benefits of this system:
- Quick curing time (tack-free 3 hours,
ready for re-coating after 5-6 hours)
- The floor was ready for use 24 hours
after the final coat

7. The concrete was very porous, heavily
damaged and had absorbed oils, fluids and
other stains

8. Major holes were repaired with
fast-curing repair cement mortar

9. Once the substrate was washed with high
pressure, cleaned and dried, the surface
was primed with a deep penetrating and
sealing epoxy primer

10. The next step involved sealing all the
cracks, small holes with highresistance filling grout

11. The system consisted in total of three
layers:
- One coat of primer for sealing and
surface preparation
- Two coats of high resistance
polyurethane floor coating

12. Coating the first layer of the
polyurethane floor coating

13. 1st and 2nd coats of the floor coating

14. Final touches – Painting the lines
