2. Ayurveda for daily life:
● The key to good health and feeling great all day
is by living in tune with nature’s cycle. Literally,
it means rising with the sun and setting with it.
● For aligning properly with nature’s cycle one has
to follow their Dincharya that is a collection of
daytime and nighttime practices.
● Also, each season alters the nature’s cycles in
different ways hence Ritucharya is also to be
infused with the Dincharya and changes has to
be made accordingly.
3. Dincharya
● Dincharya is daily life routine which is a
combination of morning time and nighttime
practices.
● Morning time practices mainly include waking
up early before sunrise, cleansing and
nourishing the body. The motive is to prepare
the body for the day.
● Nighttime practices include setting down with
the sun i.e dimming the light and calming your
body for sleep to get yourself prepared for the
other day with full energy and enthusiasm.
4. Ritucharya
● According to Ayurveda, seasonal and climatic
changes affect the body and the Dincharya,
significantly affecting the physical and mental
health. Temperature, wind, rain, daylight hours
affect the body’s natural cycle and essential
organs.
● Ritu means season and Charya means lifestyle
and hence Ritucharya is a seasonal routine to
devise a lifestyle according to the changes in
nature to maintain diet and health by
maintaining proper digestion, immunity, sleep,
and energy.
