9. Blog Topics
Digital Marketing Certificate
As a blog topic, I would write content about digital marketing certifications and how to
achieve the right education to become involved in this field. For this keyword, I chose it
because I still believe that the field of digital marketing is still rising and thriving. People
are actively looking for opportunities to gain the skills quickly and efficiently and this
can be done by receiving a certificate. Connecting it back to udacity, I wanted Udacity to
be associated with this keyword in order for people to find the Digital Marketing
Nanodegree and gain the helpful skills provided by the program. The keyword also
ranks pretty well in the keyword research done on Moz. According to the analysis done
by Moz, this keyword has a monthly volume of 851-1.7k. The difficulty of the post is
also fairly low which works in our favor. It has a score of about 53% on organic CTR.
The priority of the keyword is also 60/100 so this makes it a good choice.
Digital Marketing
A blog topic idea I have for digital marketing would be how this field is beneficial for
many types of people being it can be done either remotely, in a office, or one could act
as a consultant for your own business. Remote digital marketing jobs can be an
opportunity for people to work at the comfort of their own homes For my second
keyword I chose digital marketing as my second choice. I chose this word because I
believe that when someone is curious about the topic of digital marketing, they are
also likely interested into how someone becomes a digital marketer. By incorporating
this keyword, I could allow udacity to rank better in their searches when the term
digital marketing comes up and it also offers someone even more information into the
occupation. This keyword has great rankings as well on the Moz program. It has a
monthly volume of 30.3k- 70.8k. It has a difficulty of about 60 which is on the higher
side but, also doable. It has a organic CTR of about 83% with a priority of 79.
10. Blog Topics
Digital Marketing Course
For this keyword, I would make a content piece about how digital
marketing is currently a booming industry and how beneficial the
nanodegree is to getting a job in the field. Similarly to what I
mentioned in my digital marketing certification keyword post, I
would also say that I chose this keyword off of how people are
interested in the field. I think the occupation is rising in popularity.
I want the keyword “digital marketing course” because I want my
page to be mentioned as a leading teacher of digital marketing.
Additionally, for those who are looking to learn the ropes and
up-to-date skills of digital marketing, I want to make Udacity rank
high in order to be seen as an industry leading business in the
field of digital marketing. By doing this, it create a sense of trust in
the those who search for the term and are looking to learn. This
will provide a better image and more elite look toward Udacity
inspiring people to choose the nanodegree program as their entry
into the job. According to my Moz search, the keyword “Digital
Marketing Course” had a monthly volume of 1.7-2.9K, difficulty
rating of 42, 53% organic CTR, and a priority of 63.

15. Page Index
Explain why the number of pages indexed is
important. Getting pages indexed allows crawlers on
your page and helps you get better results in search.
16. Page Speed
Explain why evaluating the Page Speed is important.
The page speed is important because according to
google research, 53% of people abandon a site if it
does not load within 3 seconds.
17. Mobile-Friendly Evaluation
Explain why having a mobile-optimized is important.
Mobile optimization is important because half of
google’s user’s search through mobile. “According to
official Google statements, more than 50 percent of
search queries globally now come from mobile
devices.”
19. Recommendations
For my first recommendation for the DMND page, I would like to suggest focusing on
getting the page indexed more by Google. According to my results, the page is only indexed
once. You can do this firstly by creating a marketing strategy and coming up with
high-quality content in order to receive more engaged traffic on the page. The more people
who visit the site and share the site and its content on other pages, the page will rank
higher on search engines because it will be looked at by the search engine as helpful.
Secondly, I would look into increasing the page speed of the website. Currently, it
ranks as an 88/100 but, we can make it better. According to Google's research, 53% Of
people who visit a website will leave if it does not load within 3 seconds. Below, I will
recommend 2 suggestions. 1st, “Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in
above-the-fold content Your page has 1 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in
rendering your page. None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered
without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load
blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.”
2nd, Enable compression Compressing resources with gzip or deflate can reduce the
number of bytes sent over the network. Doing anything we can in order to optimize page
speed is key. We do not want roughly 50% of our visitors leaving because of page speed.
Lastly, I would recommend making the page more mobile friendly because according
to google statements, more than 50% of searches around the world are done on mobile.
Here are some of my suggestions: "In order to enhance mobile friendliness. You should
avoid and minimize the use of blocking JavaScript, especially external scripts that must be
fetched before they can be executed. Scripts that are necessary to render page content can
be inclined to avoid extra network requests, however, the inlined content needs to be small
and must execute quickly to deliver good performance. Scripts that are not critical to initial
render should be made asynchronous or deferred until after the first render. Please keep in
mind that for this to improve your loading time, you must also optimize CSS delivery.
Secondly, You should minify your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript resources: To minify HTML, try
HTML Minifier To minify CSS, try CSSNano and csso. To minify JavaScript, try UglifyJS. The
Closure Compiler is also very effective. You can create a build process that uses these tools
to minify and rename the development files and save them to a production directory."
