EXPERIENCE
Flex-N-Gate
Data Librarian August 2016 – Present
Electrical Engineering Internship May 2016 – August 2016
• Researched and developed a circuit to detect for up to a 1ms light flicker in a headlamp for use in warranty and product testing.
• Programmed an 8-bit and 16-bit PIC microcontroller using MPLAB X to send real time information back if an event occurs.
• Created a test circuit and waveforms to simulate a voltage dropout for Ford’s FMC1278 pre-compliance testing to ensure new
products can endure this fallout.
• Assisted engineers’ troubleshooting various headlamp failures.
• Organizing the electronic department’s database for easy access of any desired project files.
ArcelorMittal
Fellowship doing research through EMDL at Michigan State University March 2016 -– May 2016
• Created user-friendly program with LabVIEW as an alternative way to detect for partial discharge events in control systems.
• It is essential to find out if PD is occurring to ensure safety within these systems.
Aramark
Clinical Engineering Internship June 2015 – Sept. 2015
• Assisted the biomedical engineering department at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
• Tested, maintained and repaired electrical equipment to make certain hospital patients could use these items safely and effectively.
• Organized and maintained the equipment database for easy localization of any piece in the hospital.
Home Care of Michigan
Warehouse Technician June 2009 – August 2013
