Which in turn activates the PITUATARY GLAND. The secretions from Pituatory Gland controls all other INDOCRINE GLANDS and they start working at much higher outputs than normal.

If the high glucose in blood is not used or the situations repeats very often then blood sugar level and insulin requirements continually rise. . It results in……………….. DIABETES

18. 1 st Feb 09 Avinash EFFECT OF STRESS – Diabetes Medical Treatment - Diet – Restrain fat part, moderate carbohydrate & increase protein part. Indian diet contains 65-70% of carbohydrates. Must be reduced to less than 50% & increase the protein, Increase Fiber contents, Avoid low saturated fats –dalda etc. Exercise - Lose weight , Walking, jogging, swimming, cycling etc. Medicines - Oral tables – Insulin secretion – sulphonylureas, Reducing Insulin Resistance- Melformin Insulin Injections – plain, Mixed, analogues.
