4. CLUSTER A
1. Paranoid Personality Disorder:
Distrust and suspiciousness
Tend to hold grudges,
revenges-refusal to forgive
insults and injuries or slights
Wont get close with others
Dominated by distrust and
hostility.
2. Schizoid
Emotional coldness, detachment or
flattened affectivity
preference for solitary activities
Lack of close friends /of desire for
such relationships
3. Schizotypal
Along with Cluster traits ,
disturbance perception eg) flashes of light no one else can see, or seeing
objects or shadows in the corner of their eyes and then realizing that
nothing is there.
odd beliefs, magical thinking.for instance, they may believe they can read other
people's thoughts, or that that their own thoughts have been stolen from their
heads.

5. CLUSTER B
1.Antisocial/ dissocial personality disorder:
•Unconcern for the feeling of others , lacks empathy
•disregard and violation for social norms, rules and obligations
•irritable, aggressive behavior violence,
•Incapacity to experience guilt.
2.Histrionic Personality Disorder
Excessive emotionality and attention seeking
Inappropriate seductiveness in appearance or behaviour
Suggestible; that is, they are easily influenced by other people's suggestions and
opinions

6. 3.Narcissistic
Ideas of grandiosity and inflated sense of self importance. assume they have special
powers, are uniquely talented, or that they are especially brilliant or attractive,leaders
•Preoccupation with fantasies of unlimited success.
•Attention seeking, dramatic behaviour,
needs constant praise and unable to face criticism
underlying sense of inferiority, easily depressed by minor events.
4.Borderline/Emotionally unstable personality disorder
tendency to act impulsively without consideration of the consequences
Intense and unstable mood ,

1. Anxious (avoidant) personality disorder
persistent and pervasive feelings of tension and apprehension
Believe that one is socially inept, personally unappealing or inferior to others , low self esteem

2. Dependent
Encouraging or allowing others to make most of one’s important life decisions
Fear of being abandoned , surrender their needs and preferences , difficultly in disagreeing
Clinging behavior.
If one relation ends, immediately find another one.
Limited capacity make everyday decisions

8. Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder/Anankastic personality
feelings of excessive doubt and caution
Perfectionists - Preoccupation with details, rules, lists, order, organization or schedule.
Works on too minute details and often fails to be on time.
Excessive literalism and adherence to social conventions
Rigidity and stubbornness to social norms
