3. • It is an 8-bit arcade game which is develop for everyone.
• This game can be played on platform like TIC-80 in
Windows or Linux.
• This game consists of mainly three modes homepage,
gameplay & game over.
• In gameplay mode there will be three enemies: Basic,
Shooter, Boss.
• Both Shooter and Boss are equipped with bullet weapons.
• Spaceship of player can fire 3 bullets at a time.
• The player spaceship has 3 lives, if all 3 lives are used
then the game comes to an end.
• The aim is to defeat waves of aliens with a laser to earn as
many points as possible.

4. AIM AND OBJECTIVE
AIM:
• Aim is to develop an 8-bit game for entertainment
purpose
OBJECTIVE:
• “GALACTUS” is a shooter spaceship in which the player
controls a laser cannon by moving it horizontally and
vertically across the screen and firing at the aliens. The
player defeats an alien, and earns points, by shooting it
with the laser cannon .There are basically three types of
aliens in the game that are basic, shooter & boss.
5. LITERATURE REVIEWS
• The best-selling console of this generation was the
NES/Famicom, followed by the Master System and then
the Atari 7800.
• Although the previous generation of consoles had also
used 8-bit processors, it was at the end of this generation
that home consoles were first labeled by their "bits".
• This also came into fashion as 16-bit systems like the Mega
Drive/Genesis were marketed to differentiate between the
generations of consoles.
The end of the 3rd generation of video games comes as 8-
bit consoles become obsolete in graphics and processing
6. PROBLEM DEFINITION
The problem statement is as follows :-
• This type of game is available for higher versions of fantasy
consoles like X-box & PlayStation .
• Due to this factor specific hardware requirements must
meet in order to play game, Graphics compatibility of game
is higher and modules like direct-X & PC-X2 are required
for smooth game play .
• Since the majority of users can’t afford these expensive
consoles.
7. SCOPE OF PROBLEM
We rectified the above problem and solutions are as follows:-
• Since this game is made in higher version of fantasy
consoles we rectified these problem and made this game
in lower version of fantasy console .
• We can play this game on easily available platform such as
mobile and PC ,
• This can be made possible by using TIC-80 software .
• As user can’t afford the expensive console so we overcome
the graphics compatibility by applying 8-bit fantasy
controller .
8. PROPOSED PLAN
Since, the aim is to develop an 8-bit game for fun and
entertainment purpose which has effective game play with
quite fascinating graphics . The game will consist of following
things .

• It is used for entertainment purpose..
• Simple GUI that is understandable to all users.
• Easy to understand.
• Compatible for all the latest systems as well as older
systems.
• Can act as a stress reliever.
DISADVANTAGES
• Without Tic-80 compiler the game cannot be played.
• They can lead to game addiction.
• They can have decentralizing effect.

• Operating system : Windows 7 or later, Linux, Android,
Mac.
• Front End : TIC-80 (Sprite Editor)
• Back End : TIC-80
• Language Used : LUA Programming Language

• Processor : Intel Pentium or more
• Ram : 512 MB or more
• Cache : 512 KB
• Hard disk : 16 GB hard disk recommended

15. CONCLUSION:
• We are concluding with the statement that we are
trying to create a game which has a smooth game
play as well as decent graphics for 8-bit consoles
and pc with an implementation of LUA
programming and TIC-80 fantasy computer.
• The project will ensure the user comfort at all
possible situations and will try to resolve all the
problem statements.
