Frontend Bot & Backend Bot
• Broadly software bots can be categorized as frontend bot (attended bot)
and backend bot (unattended bot).
• Frontend bot cannot run its own, nor can be scheduled. On need basis
those need to be triggered manually
• Backend bot can be configured, scheduled and controlled with the help

Finance Process Automation
Process Info: Key in salary details for each employee
into Accent Payroll system.
For every appraisal cycle, Finance team has to
manually key in salary details of each employee into
payroll system which they receive into PDF format.
This process is carried out for,
1. Each newly joined employee
2. Each employee during salary revision cycle
Challenges:
1. For one employee, there are 15 entries to be
done into system.
2. Time required for one employee entry was
10min.
3. During revision cycle finance team has to key in
data for 600+ employees
4. Error prone process due to manual data entry
