The developing BIM technology in AEC industry facilitate both building and infrastructure from design & construction to operation & maintenance, also enables better ROI to all firm size. The development of software tools transforming the BIM technology to be robust. The important factor to consider is the development of technology demand software tools to influence the construction data to be better interoperable. The main purpose of the study is to identify the interoperability issues between BIM tools, Revit 2016 and ArchiCAD 18 in the context of open standard format IFC 2X3 exchange.
