1. ACM Bangalore brings ACM
Distinguished Speakers Program to India
One of ACM’s most valued programs is the Distinguished Speakers Program (DSP), an outreach effort
that brings quality speakers to local communities of practitioners, researchers and students.
Professionals from academia, industry, government, and ACM Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are
invited throughout the year to give presentations on various computing and Information Technology
topics.
ACM Bangalore has always strived to bring more value to its member. ACM Bangalore has been
conducting regular monthly tech-talks and is now extending membership value by introducing ACM
Bangalore Distinguished Speakers Program (DSP) for the first time in India, thus ensuring individual
growth and professional development.
The DSP program would be conducted regularly and would feature latest developments in the
Computing and Information Technology fields. Some of the current topics include: Computer
Systems, Databases, Networks, Emerging Technologies, Computer Graphics, Interactive Techniques,
