The American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) was established in 1948 as a means of developing commerce between the U.S. and Japan, to promote the interests of U.S. business in Japan, and to improve the international business environment in Japan. Today the ACCJ has offices in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, and represents over 2,700 members from more than 1,000 companies in over 40 countries.
