2. Remember
DEAR CHRISTIAN:
You have but one soul to
save,
One God to love and to
serve,
One eternity to expect,
DEATH will come soon,
JUDGMENT will follow
And then
HEAVEN or HELL forever!

3. “The dust return to its earth,
from whence it came, and the
DEATH spirit returns to God, Who
gave it.” (Eccles. 12:7)
At death, the soul is separated from the body.
It is judged by God and rewarded with
heaven, punished in hell, or sent to be
cleansed in purgatory.

4. DEATH
 The body begins to corrupt and returns to the
dust from which it came. On the top picture,
the death of the just. Below, death of a
sinner.

7. JUDGEMENT
The judgment which will be passed on each
one of us immediately after death is called
the particular judgment as soon as each
soul leaves the body at death.

8. JUDGEMENT
 JESUS CHRIST is the JUDGE at the particular
judgment. Before Him each soul must stand,
The soul will stand in the awful presence of God
the Son, to give an account of its whole life: of
every thought, word, act and omission. On the
left picture, judgment of the just. On the right,
judgment of the sinner.

9. “It is appointed unto
men to die once, but
after this comes the
Judgment” (Heb.
9:27)
JUDGEMENT

10. HEAVEN
Those who are rewarded in heaven who die in
the state of grace and have been purified in
purgatory. They see God face to face, and
share forever in His glory and happiness.

11. HEAVEN
 We do not obtain heaven w/o working for it.
He that for God’s sake has suffered most and
given up most will get the greatest reward in
heaven.

12. “And God will wipe
away every tear from
HEAVEN their eyes. And death
shall be no more;
neither shall be there
mourning, nor crying,
nor pain anymore”
(Apoc. 21:4)

13. HELL
Those are punished in hell who die in
mortal sin; they are deprived of the
vision of God and suffer dreadful
torments, especially that of fire, for all
eternity. All who die in mortal sin, even
with only a single unrepented and
unforgiven mortal sin, are sent to hell.

14. HELL
 The condemned in hell will suffer the
pain of loss and the pain of sense. The
wicked in hell know what they rejected
and lost: GOD. This pain will be their
greatest torment of hell. For the human
soul is made for God. The wicked will
also suffer from fire and the torments
inflicted on all the senses, the sight,
hearing, smell, taste, touch.

15. “Depart from me,
HELL accursed ones, into
everlasting fire”
(Matt. 25:41)
