journeys by auto rickshaw, own scooter,

journeys by AC taxi will not be permissible

b) Mileage allowance for road journeys shall be regulated at the following rates in
places where no specific rates have been prescribed either by the Director of
Transport of the concerned State or of the neighboring States:
(i)For journeys performed in own car/taxi: Rs. 16 per km.
(ii)For performed by auto rickshaw own scooter, etc.: Rs. 8 per km.
(c) The rate of Mileage Allowance for (ii) For journeys on bicycle on tour and
transfer, is revised from 60 paise to Rs 1.20 per kilometer.
The above rates at (i) and (ii) can be claimed only if there are no rates have
been prescribed by the local or the neibouring state Governments
Further it has been noticed that many individuals are claiming full day taxi for
local journeys, which is wrong. Full day taxi is not admissible for travel on
Tour.
3. Daily Allowance on Tour:
Reimbursement for Hotel accommodation/guest house bills, taxi charges for
travel within the city and food bills
For journeys on foot, an allowance of Rs. 5 per kilometer travelled on foot shall be payable
additionally.

Officers drawing grade pay of Rs. 10,000/-
and above and those in pay scales of HAG+
and above
Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 5000,
AC taxi charges of upto 50 kms ,
food bills not exceeding Rs. 500.
Officers drawing grade pay of Rs. 7600 to
Rs. 8900
Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 5000,
Non-AC taxi charges of upto 50 kms,
food bills not exceeding Rs. 300.
Officers drawing grade pay of Rs. 5400 to
Rs. 6600
Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 1500,
taxi charges of upto Rs. 150,
food bills not exceeding Rs. 200.
Officers drawing grade pay of Rs. 4200 to
4800
Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 500;
travel charges of upto Rs. 100 ,
food bills not exceeding Rs. 150.
Officers drawing grade pay of below Rs.
4200
Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 300
travel charges of upto Rs. 50
food bills not exceeding Rs. 100
Processing of TA Bills
Checks Points for preferring TA Claims
i. The TA Claim is submitted immediately after the completion of journey.
ii. If Advance has been drawn, the maximum time limit is 15 days from the
completion of journey.
iii. Approval of Tour/ Tour Programme is taken in advance in general, Especailly
in such cases where the higher mode of transport is to be availed.
iv. Boarding Passes/ Tickets (for journey by Air), Tickets for travel by Rail/Bus
are enclosed.
v. Countersignature of HOD/RD is obtained.
vi. details of advance, free lodging/ boarding, Local Travel (Kms) are explicitly
stated.
vii. Verification of Vouchers/enclosures by claimant is done.
viii.All vouchers are enclosed for which money is being claimed (for claims under
6th
PC)

  • 6. b) Mileage allowance for road journeys shall be regulated at the following rates in places where no specific rates have been prescribed either by the Director of Transport of the concerned State or of the neighboring States: (i)For journeys performed in own car/taxi: Rs. 16 per km. (ii)For performed by auto rickshaw own scooter, etc.: Rs. 8 per km. The above rates at (i) and (ii) can be claimed only if there are no rates have been prescribed by the local or the neibouring state Governments Further it has been noticed that many individuals are claiming full day taxi for local journeys, which is wrong. Full day taxi is not admissible for travel on Tour.

Daily Allowance on Tour: Reimbursement for Hotel accommodation/guest house bills, taxi charges for travel within the city and food bills For journeys on foot, an allowance of Rs. 5 per kilometer travelled on foot shall be payable additionally. Grade Pay Daily Allowance per day Officers drawing grade pay of Rs. 10,000/- and above and those in pay scales of HAG+ and above Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 5000, AC taxi charges of upto 50 kms , food bills not exceeding Rs. 500. Officers drawing grade pay of Rs. 7600 to Rs. 8900 Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 5000, Non-AC taxi charges of upto 50 kms, food bills not exceeding Rs. 300. Officers drawing grade pay of Rs. 5400 to Rs. 6600 Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 1500, taxi charges of upto Rs. 150, food bills not exceeding Rs. 200. Officers drawing grade pay of Rs. 4200 to 4800 Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 500; travel charges of upto Rs. 100 , food bills not exceeding Rs. 150. Officers drawing grade pay of below Rs. 4200 Hotel accommodation upto Rs. 300 travel charges of upto Rs. 50 food bills not exceeding Rs. 100
  • 8. Processing of TA Bills Checks Points for preferring TA Claims i. The TA Claim is submitted immediately after the completion of journey. ii. If Advance has been drawn, the maximum time limit is 15 days from the completion of journey. iii. Approval of Tour/ Tour Programme is taken in advance in general, Especailly in such cases where the higher mode of transport is to be availed. iv. Boarding Passes/ Tickets (for journey by Air), Tickets for travel by Rail/Bus are enclosed. v. Countersignature of HOD/RD is obtained. vi. details of advance, free lodging/ boarding, Local Travel (Kms) are explicitly stated. vii. Verification of Vouchers/enclosures by claimant is done. viii.All vouchers are enclosed for which money is being claimed (for claims under 6th PC)
