many different technology's in order to help plan this.

We used the internet in order to research existing noir film and to find out what makes a noir film successful.
we also used it to find more our about our target audience. As we had the power to find more out about our
average target audience.

We feel that without the advantages of modern technology, we would not have
been able to present our work in a formal yet interesting way.

4. hardware
• During our planning we used a large number of hardware in order to ensure that we presented our work as
effectively as possible.
• We also used our mobile phones for quick research in order to save time from turning in a computer of we
wasn’t already working on one.
• We also used personal laptops for when we was working at home. These allowed us to further research our
film in more depth. This would not have been possible if we did not have access to a PC at home.
• When deciding on locations, we used a photography camera in order to take pictures of possible locations.
This allowed us the make informed decisions while seeing where we could possibly film at a later date.

During our planning we used software such as Microsoft word and Microsoft PowerPoint. This allowed
Us to make pagers for our blog. For example we wrote,

• Our questionnaire
And many other written aspects of our work on Microsoft Word, and…

And other presentation pieces of work using Microsoft PowerPoint.
We also used editing software for a number of tasks for our blog. Including film theorists etc.

Additionally we used a website called ‘Sound bible’ in order to gain royalty free music to use on out trailer.
We would then select our music and edit it in.

• After recording our footage for out film trailer. We then used an apple IMAC to edit our film.

For Two of our four questions, we used Prezi, this allowed us to present our work clearly and to show
our work in a unique and varied way.
In order to make our film poster an magazine cover, we researched the conventions of existing
Magazine front covers in order to make our magazine front cover as effective as possible for our
Target audience, and to ensure that it follows the conventions of the noir genre.

• To make the magazine and film poster, we used a standard PC in order to edit these, we also needed access
to the internet in order to research existing magazine front covers.
• I also used microphone when recording a video for one of my four questions.

During our post-production, we continued to use an editing software in order to present our work
formally when doing audience feedback etc.
I also used Photoshop in order to make small changes on my magazine front cover which I would
Not be able to do on other software's, this allowed me to make the poster exactly how I wanted to,
and to make it blend better as a whole due to the blearing tool etc.
