The Spartans team from Kamala Institute of Technology & Science proposes a sustainable and no contact attendance system using palm vein scanners and barcode scans with two-factor authentication. Their solution involves palm vein scanners, detectors, scanners, a database, and Python. Their system could be used in educational institutions, workplaces, banks, medical facilities, and airlines. It relies on Wi-Fi, sensors, and digital equipment. The team is composed of 6 students from the ECE and EEE departments led by Koheda Snighdaa in their third year. They are mentored by K Bhaskar Prakash, an academic with 3 years of experience in networking and security.
