Mooc stand for massive open online course.
Moocs are unique and exciting virtual teaching and
learning.
It is an online course aimed to limit the illiteracy people.
Mooc is a global learning and concussive communication
between the teacher and the learners.

The term MOOC was found in 2008 by Dave Cormier of the university of price Edward Island.
The origin of the MOOC goes way back (all of five years), to 2008 when Canadian
scholars Stephen Downes and George Siemens led an online course
called Connectivism and Connective Knowledge

• One of the challenges that MOOC instructors face is to learn
how to alter and improve the courses when they are taught
many times.
• teachers are unable to give active feedbacks for assignments
and tests to the students because of large number of learners.
• Only students with a lot perseverance and self-discipline can
complete these courses.
• Students who are unable to manage their time often drop out of
these courses.

MOOCs are a boon for people who have faced
obstacles in pursuing education due to lack of money
and poverty.
MOOCs offer the various learning communities for
everyone.
The are tools used to collaborate with learners and
help them solve real world problems .
The learners can choose a course of their choice from
the convenience of their homes.
