7. The Flower Route (Ruta de Las Flores)
is located in the Sierra Apaneca-
Ilamatepec, reaches a maximum

8. The route of the Flower Route, Ruta de Las Flores starts in the town
of Nahuizalco, which is located 70 kilometers from San Salvador.
There are two versions that preserve old documents about the
origins of this population.
The first version, Nahuizalco retains this name because formerly had
four times as many Indians as the largest town on this Izalco. The
second version is recorded as follows "The One tradition that

26. Cihuatán
This archaeological site is still within the
department of San Salvador, located northeast
of the city of Aguilares, on the banks of the
River Acelhuate. This site was explored by
archaeologists Salvadoran Jorge Lardé and

Cihuatan in Nahuatl language means "City of

indigenous ceremonial center.

Cabañas is located geographically in the

64. Bosque de Chaguantique
It is one of the Natural Protected Areas of El Salvador,
