I realize a digital footprint leaves behind a trail of
data where other people can collect information
about me, and my digital presence.
I am aware that everyone can see what I have
done, leaving no privacy. My private information
can be copied, can be passed on, passed to
anyone, and can become permanent.
4. Media Literacy
I am also aware that every time I log on to a
website that I leave a digital footprint that can
have serious consequences. In order to protect
my privacy I should know who my friends are,
avoid disclosing my location, don’t share my
password, change my password frequently, trust
my instincts, be discreet, think before I click, and
be aware of my online reputation.
5. Media Literacy
I am aware that what I do can affect other
people, and those around me in a hurtful
manner. Therefore, I believe I need to be careful
on the internet, and mindful. Furthermore, I want
to ensure I practice a safe and harassment free
digital world.
