Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Educational technology as a subject is very wide
because it has many different aspects. It helps us in
making our tool in teaching and a tool for a learner.
For example, the ICT it can be used in many
different ways. It is integrated into educational
settings and it depends on the teacher on how they
used it as instructional goals and strategies

Using of ICT is very viral and
important in today’s life living. It is
because we are living in a high
technology world.
We know that in using ICT can
make our work easier. But we use it
only as a tool not to replace a teacher.

Nutshell
Technology is commonly described as a gadgets,
instruments, machines and devices. It is a tool for us in
making instructions. For example, before we use
abacus in counting numbers but as time passes by, and
technology grows it develop and become a calculator. It
easy to handle and manipulate.

Changes in the goals of education during the latter
part of the 20th century, coupled with increases in the
amount and type of available technology in the world.
But now as decades passed, a lot of technology is
appearing. High technologies are being used.
In the amount of technology that has produced,
using of textbooks, assignments that is needed to be
consulted to the teacher or to parents are now lessen.

Nutshell
We need to consider also the
tips when technology fails.
• Always prepare non
technology.
• Report the problem to whom
the reporting should be done.
• Don’t be afraid to know how to
fix it.

In Higher Order Thinking Skills
We must know that:
• the teacher creating the
learning environment
• the teacher giving students the
tools and teacher facilitates
learning.

Computer- assisted Instruction (CAI)
Students in CAI play their own roles as learner as they
• Understand the instruction
• Receive information
• Retain and keep in mind

During the computer activity
proper in CAI the computer, too
plays its roles as it.
• Reinforce learning through drill
and practices
• Provides feedback
• Acts as a tutor
• Delivers learning instruction

There are also kinds of software that can be used.
1.Simulation Programs that teaches strategies and rules
applied in real life problem. Ask students to make decisions in a
scenarios.
2. Instructional Games that relating to low-level learning
objectives, instructional computer games add the elements of
competition and challenge.

3. Problem- Solving Software to learn and improve on their
problem solving ability.
4. Multimedia Encyclopedia and electronic books that can
store huge database with texts, images, animation, audio and
video.

Students increased understanding of how they learn. New
approaches to instruction are being used. Traditional computer
assisted Instruction and many integrated learning system are
used in subject areas.
Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2
Educational technology is fun learning because using
technologies is a must.
Because we as educators must improve our teaching and to
develop the learning of students.
Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2
Like in we studied about the Information Communication
Technology the Operating System, Word Processing, Spreadsheet
and Internet.
Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2
In spreadsheet, we can use it to make grades easier in just
one click it will total all the grades you encoded. And you as a
teacher will make you work easier.
Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2
Using Edtc1 we know different models that can be used. In
edtc2 we learn how to make the use of power point
presentation. And the proper way of using the font size, style,
the color, background. So it will be easy for us. We just only
improve our learnings during Edtc2.

The fun in learning is actually on how the teacher delivers her
lessons.
The excitement is there when you don’t know the lesson and
when the teacher instruct, you are excited to know what is the
content.
The Student after Edtc
The Student after Edtc
The student shall be able to apply all those learnings in their
life.
We can use it in the future. Integrating Technology in
Instruction, because we will use ICT in teaching.
Considering the using of different technologies that will apply
in our teaching, we must improve it.
The Student after Edtc
By the use of what we have learned through Edtc1 and Edtc2,
we apply it and we must acquire new knowledge and think of
what new strategies to be used.
The Student after Edtc
Apply the use of technology in an all in one way so that it
supports the objectives and engages the learners in
meaningful learning.
Integrate it with lessons by reinforcing learning through
repetitive exercises such the students can practice basic skills
or knowledge in various areas.

  • 5. Educational Technology in a Nutshell Educational technology as a subject is very wide because it has many different aspects. It helps us in making our tool in teaching and a tool for a learner. For example, the ICT it can be used in many different ways. It is integrated into educational settings and it depends on the teacher on how they used it as instructional goals and strategies
  • 6. Educational Technology in a Nutshell Using of ICT is very viral and important in today’s life living. It is because we are living in a high technology world. We know that in using ICT can make our work easier. But we use it only as a tool not to replace a teacher.
  • 7. Educational Technology in a Nutshell Technology is commonly described as a gadgets, instruments, machines and devices. It is a tool for us in making instructions. For example, before we use abacus in counting numbers but as time passes by, and technology grows it develop and become a calculator. It easy to handle and manipulate.

Educational Technology in a Nutshell Changes in the goals of education during the latter part of the 20th century, coupled with increases in the amount and type of available technology in the world. But now as decades passed, a lot of technology is appearing. High technologies are being used. In the amount of technology that has produced, using of textbooks, assignments that is needed to be consulted to the teacher or to parents are now lessen.
  • 9. Educational Technology in a Nutshell We need to consider also the tips when technology fails. • Always prepare non technology. • Report the problem to whom the reporting should be done. • Don’t be afraid to know how to fix it.
  • 10. Educational Technology in a Nutshell In Higher Order Thinking Skills We must know that: • the teacher creating the learning environment • the teacher giving students the tools and teacher facilitates learning.

  • 12. Educational Technology in a Nutshell During the computer activity proper in CAI the computer, too plays its roles as it. • Reinforce learning through drill and practices • Provides feedback • Acts as a tutor • Delivers learning instruction
  • 13. Educational Technology in a Nutshell There are also kinds of software that can be used. 1.Simulation Programs that teaches strategies and rules applied in real life problem. Ask students to make decisions in a scenarios. 2. Instructional Games that relating to low-level learning objectives, instructional computer games add the elements of competition and challenge.
  • 14. Educational Technology in a Nutshell 3. Problem- Solving Software to learn and improve on their problem solving ability. 4. Multimedia Encyclopedia and electronic books that can store huge database with texts, images, animation, audio and video.
  • 15. Educational Technology in a Nutshell Students increased understanding of how they learn. New approaches to instruction are being used. Traditional computer assisted Instruction and many integrated learning system are used in subject areas.
  • 16. Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2 Educational technology is fun learning because using technologies is a must. Because we as educators must improve our teaching and to develop the learning of students.
  • 17. Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2 Like in we studied about the Information Communication Technology the Operating System, Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Internet.
  • 18. Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2 In spreadsheet, we can use it to make grades easier in just one click it will total all the grades you encoded. And you as a teacher will make you work easier.
  • 19. Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2 Using Edtc1 we know different models that can be used. In edtc2 we learn how to make the use of power point presentation. And the proper way of using the font size, style, the color, background. So it will be easy for us. We just only improve our learnings during Edtc2.
  • 20. Learning Through Edtc1 and Edtc2 The fun in learning is actually on how the teacher delivers her lessons. The excitement is there when you don’t know the lesson and when the teacher instruct, you are excited to know what is the content.
  • 22. The Student after Edtc The student shall be able to apply all those learnings in their life. We can use it in the future. Integrating Technology in Instruction, because we will use ICT in teaching. Considering the using of different technologies that will apply in our teaching, we must improve it.
  • 23. The Student after Edtc By the use of what we have learned through Edtc1 and Edtc2, we apply it and we must acquire new knowledge and think of what new strategies to be used.
  • 24. The Student after Edtc Apply the use of technology in an all in one way so that it supports the objectives and engages the learners in meaningful learning. Integrate it with lessons by reinforcing learning through repetitive exercises such the students can practice basic skills or knowledge in various areas.
