3. Seychelles officially the Republic of Seychelles is a 155-island country
spanning an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, whose capital, Victoria, lies some 1,500
kilometres (932 mi) east of mainland Southeast Africa, northeast of the island of
Madagascar.
Other nearby island countries and territories include Zanzibar to the west, Mauritius,
Rodrigues, Agaléga and Réunion to the south, and Comoros and Mayotte to the
southwest. Seychelles, with a population of 90,024, has the smallest population of any
African state.

4. The largest ethnic groups are those of African, French, Indian, and
Chinese descent. French and English are official languages along with
Seychellois Creole, which is primarily based upon French. Almost the
entire population belongs to one of the Christian denominations, largely
Catholic, with Protestant, Anglican, Adventist and other Christian
minorities. The remainder are Spiritualists or Non-religious.

5. Tourism is the main source of income for residents of the Seychelles,
which are among the richer African countries.
The Seychelles is the protection of the environment is very harsh,

park Mourne Seychellois. The park covers about 20% of the total area of the
island and contains a great wealth of flora, including some species that are
unique to Seychelles. The park is the highest peak in the Seychelles - Mourne
Seychellois at an altitude of 905m, which offers stunning views of the island.

9. All distances are quite small and most of the population and visitors to the
island moving on foot or on a bicycle. The island has no tourist
promenade and bustling bars, and even the nature of quiet, discrete

Park Vallee de Mai, which is protected by UNESCO. Vallee de Mai is an
ancient rain forest, which is filled numerous endemic species. It is rich in

sky,is the best way to end the day in the Seychelles. Characteristic of the Seychelles are
definitely spices,which are completely authentic and traditional souvenirs are "coco- de-
mer " and "sea walnut ",with homemade walnut trees. With this reason,coconut ("coco-
de-mer ") is due to the shape of the seal that will hit the publican in the passport at the
entrance to this country. Food is adapted to climates and is based on the abundance of
seafood,fish and vegetables and local Creole type or types of French cuisine,so guests
from our region should not be surprising combination of sweet taste kiselkastih
