1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
2. SlideRocket
SlideRocket has helped me display my
work in a creative form, it includes
animations and allows me to
experiment with colours and display my
work evidently. I have learnt from slide
rocket that rather than using power
point I can use this which is very similar
but it has more professional qualities to
it and makes my work appear more
sophisticated.
3. Prezi
Prezi allowed me to create swiftly
flowing moments between my texts I
was able to make pathways to direct
my reader throughout my work
guiding them along the pathways. The
main thing I have learnt is how to
display work with a format that allows
me to guide the reader through my
work without having to number it or
draw arrows.
4. Photoshop
I used this program to format my work
in a sophisticated style. Photoshop
allows me to create a magazine front
cover contents page and double page
spread as professionally as possible.
Throughout using Photoshop I have
also learnt have I can edit my images
to make certain section of my image
lighter or darker, and even crop out
the background out my images.
5. Xtranormal
Xtranormal is a clever website that
allows you to write your text out
in a word document and paste it
into a box and the program will
translate my words into speech. I
have learnt from this that
sometime just having to read a big
block of text can be boring
therefore this website shows other
ways in which you can change
things up a little.
6. InDesign
InDesign allowed me to insert text into
my article in the three columnswith
the text flowing from one box to
another without me having to copy
text from where the bottom of the
page is and copy it into the box next to
it. I have learnt that I don’t have to put
myself through the long process of
organising my text and wasting my
time when I could easily use this
program without any hassle.
7. Flickr
Flickr is an easy way to annotate my
work and allows the audience to see
my reasons for doing taking action and
using certain colour, fonts, images and
layout. I have learnt that I can
annotate my work on top of the
section I am talking about without
covering my work and only appearing
when I scroll over that section.
8. Wordpress
Wordpress is a blog which I publish all
of my work on it allows me to display
different pieces of work that I have
completed throughout my project. I
have learnt that I can upload different
projects from online websites and
have them saved all onto one website
so my work can be all neatly
organised.
