Teaching
1.
2. Teacher
* A teacher (or, in the US, educator) is
a person who provides education for
pupils (children) and students (adults).
3. THE ROLE OF TEACHER
The role of teacher is often formal and ongoing, carried out at a
school or other place of education. In many countries, a person who
wishes to become a teacher must first obtain specified professional
qualifications from a university or college. Teachers, like other
professionals, may have to continue their education
after they qualify, a process known as continuing
professional development.
A teacher's role may vary among cultures.
Teachers may provide instruction in reading
and math, characteristics or science,
the arts, religion, social studies, community roles,
or life skills.
4. The Schooling teachers
go through
They must have a high-school diploma. To educate in a public
school they need a bachelors degree at the minimum. People who
tech at the grade school level normally major in education and
minor in another subject like math or science. If the future
teacher yearns to be a high school teacher , in most cases, they
will need to major in an area where they wish to teach. The future
teacher can chose to also get degrees with extra or additional
courses in education. Pre-school teachers may opt for a 2-year
degree program in early childhood development or a related area.
Most academic programs in education include courses necessary to
apply for state teacher certification. Teachers can often further
their careers by joining professional organizations and adding
voluntary certification credits to their resumes.

8. Teaching strategies
One teaching strategy used is active learning. This is any approach that
gets its learner moving, or that is hands-on. This approach is used
often in science. When you do labs would be an example of this
strategy. Another strategy is the before, during, and after. It is when
you explore the topic before actually doing the main event. Then during
the activity you are recording information that is given throughout the
activity. The after is discussing what you just did or the activity. An
example of this is when you discuss a topic and learn about it, then go
watch a movie and take notes during the movie, and after you discuss
with the class what you just watched. Last, the simplest
strategy, Homework and Practice. We should all know what this is. It is
when your teacher gives you a worksheet to do in glass or you play a
game involving the unit you are working on(practice). Also when they give
you a worksheet or set of problems to do at home (homework). This is
what happens daily in my math class.
9. What makes a great teacher
This section is all from my opinion because to be honest everyone will
have there opinion on what makes a great teacher to them. A good
teacher would be someone who explains to me personally so I understand
the material. Another nice quality would be a teacher who demonstrates
and shows me how to do it. A teacher who has a sense of humour and
will make jokes to lighten up the mood. Someone who is entergetic and
cheerful and never puts anyone down. A person who open to others ideas
and opinions. Those are extremely important to me but the most
important quality would have to be someone who inspires me to do
better, be a better person, and reach my goals.
10. To sum it up
If you haven’t notice I would like to be
come a teacher. Learning about this
topic made realize what I’m in for.
So, wish me luck on my journey. I will
have to work hard for good
grades, study a lot and be the teacher
I want to have for my own students.
