2. Equilibrium Mark Pylon (Christian Bale) is working for the CIA, as ‘The Hacker’ as he is one of the most intelligent people in the world. The CIA pay him high amounts of money to do secret missions for the CIA. The money pays for his child and his wife Clara Pylon (Gemma Arterton).
3. Disruption The American government believe the Russians are planning to attack America with nuclear missiles. Mark and other ‘Hackers’ are sent to look into Russian databases and disable Russian missiles. Once the squad get there, Charlie (Robert De Niro) and Paul (Leonardo Di Caprio) let Mark to hack into the databases. Once Mark is able to take control of missiles, Charlie and Paul whack Mark on the head with a hand gun and drag him away. He wakes up in a cold room to find he is tied to a chair where Charlie and Paul tell him what's going on. In a series of flashbacks they show that Mark was brainwashed 10 years ago. Before he was brainwashed he was a ‘Hacker’ for Russian intelligence. Charlie and Paul were part of a small society called ‘Liberal’. They wanted to start war with the Americans because they believed the cold war wasn’t finished. Now Charlie and Paul who are actually named Charveko and Paulko will fire nuclear missiles at the Americans and start a Nuclear war.
4. Resolution Mark must stop Charveko and Paulko, by disabling the missiles and killing both of them. Also, stop the Liberal society. He must also, regain his true identity of who and what he originally was.
5. Restored Order Mark stops the Liberal society and stops the nuclear missiles from launching. Charveko and Paulko are in prison for life. Mark must now tell his family he doesn’t belong here and has another life which needs to be lived.
6. New Equilibrium Mark recovers his identity. He is Reznov, aged 45 with a wife named Albina. He still is in contact with his son and continues to send them money to live on. Reznov still wonders how we was brainwashed and erased without a trace. A Year late Reznov and Albina get married again to remember there happiness, which returns the memory of Reznov back to his normal self.
