2. Time Line Part 1 May 17, 1944- Myanamar Elli hid a poem book under her dress. All the books should have been burned. She would have been killed if found. So it took courage hide it because risked her life. Gives guard book. Gave book because she knew it would have been taken instead, and she trusted him . It took courage because the guard could of punished her for hiding paper and carrying paper. Elli gets caught in the infirmary when she was talking to her mother. Elli got punished for that action . It took courage because she risked punishment for herself. With the help of friends Elli smuggles her mother out of the infirmary . It took courage to do that because they broke many rules including sneaking out after dark. After many days inside Elli wears a yellow star on here shirt. She gets teased by boys at school but continues to wear it. Ellie thinks of the star as a “Jew badge.” It took courage because she got humiliated and she still wore it. Poetry book
3. Time Line Part 2 Elli jumps on a SS woman and shoved her against the wall because the SS woman was hurting mother. SS woman beat Elli violently and knocked her out. It took courage because doing that almost certainly is in death punishment but Elli was lucky. Elli was sent to the gas chambers but sneaks out of line and runs off to go help mother. It took courage because if she was caught outside of line she would of got killed. Elli follows some girls and hides in the bathroom, and disobeyed the SS officer. That took courage because she got punished and could of got herself killed while mother was injured. (Flash back) Elli asked Mr. Sheidel for paper though it was very risky especially asking for an item like paper. It took courage because Mr. Sheidel could of betrayed her and punished her. SS woman

6. Room design or Special Place Silk Cover I did a picture of a bed because when they first arrived at the Augsburg camp they found them selves in “heaven”. The bed represents that for the first couple of days they had beds that had straw bags with sheets. It was the first time in any camp that they would find beds with clean sheets, that is why I have a picture of a bed with a sheet.

The beer is freshly brewed and is famous for its strong taste! Desserts: Raspberry-Cream Raouladee is a sponge cake filled with rich flavors with fruit and whipped cream!
