and we shall be changed.

a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were
affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
19. Trib. Saints Rev. 7:14-15
14) ... And he said to me, These are they which
came out of great tribulation, and have
washed their robes, and made them white in
the blood of the Lamb.

temple: and he that sitteth on the throne
shall dwell among them.

Father; when he shall have put down all rule
and all authority and power.
25) For he must reign, till he hath put all
enemies under his feet.
24. 1Cor 15:52
In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible,
and we shall be
changed.
• 1st trump
– trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible
• Last trump
– we shall be changed
25. 1st Trump Last Trump
• What happens in-between?
• How much time is between 1st and last
trump?
• Where is it in the Bible?
26. WHAT WE KNOW
• We will be changed in a moment (or less).
Logical deduction; changed then leave.
• Dead rise first.
• Something you can Watch for it (Rev. 3:3)
• 1 Thes 4:13-17
• 1 Cor 15:51-52
27. 1Thess 4:13-17
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not,
even as others which have no hope.
14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so
them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we
which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord
shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump
of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the
air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
28. 1Cor 15:51-52
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all
sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
30. Why do the dead rise first?
• Head start- nope those (living) on the south
pole of the globe need more time.
• ‘dead’ Christians need a head start because
they’re not as close to God.
31. Watch for it? (Rev.3:3)
To be prepared is possible but to watch for
something that is quicker than the blink of an
eye is not possible. Even if you knew the exact
time of the rapture you couldn’t see it.
32. LET’S SEE IF AN UNDERSTANDING OF A
RESURRECTION WILL HELP
33. REV. 20:4-6
• 4) Not church age, but Trib. Saints resurrected
• 5)Trib. Saints part of the 1st resurrection
• 6) Church age saints- 2nd death has no power
over us, we are part of the 1st resurrection
too.
34. 1Cor. 15:20
• 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and
become the firstfruits of them that slept. (Past
tense)
• 21 For since by man came death, by man came
also the resurrection of the dead.
• 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all
be made alive.
• 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the
firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his
coming.
The resurrection of Christ was the start of a 3 phase
event called the 1st resurrection-to life.
35. How do we know it has 3 phases?
First fruits (harvest, gleanings)
Rev. 20 Trib. Saints are part of the 1st
resurrection even though it will happen more
than 2,000 yrs after the event was started.
• Jesus resurrection=1st fruits,
• Church= harvest
• Trib. Saints = Gleanings
36. • 1st fruits low number
• Gleanings low number
• Harvest the largest number.
The Context of 1Cor. 15 is not rapture but
resurrection.
37. Matthew 27:51-53
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in
twain from the top to the bottom; and the
earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many
bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his
resurrection, and went into the holy city, and
appeared unto many.
First fruit(s) Jesus and O.T. saints.
38. What happened to the Saints that
came out of the grave?
• Dropped dead?
• Lived a second life?
• Left with Jesus (after 40days)?
Didn’t die again because the bodies had been
changed.
39. 1 Corinthians 15: 35-42
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised
up? and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not
quickened, except it die:
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not
that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may
chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him,
and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one
kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts,
another of fishes, and another of birds.
40. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies
terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one,
and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another
glory of the moon, and another glory of the
stars: for one star differeth from another star
in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is
sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
41. Philippians 3:20-21
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from
whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord
Jesus Christ:
We look
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be
fashioned like unto his glorious body,
according to the working whereby he is able
even to subdue all things unto himself.
Fashioned like unto his glorious body
42. Jesus’ resurrection body had no
blood and not bound by manmade
structures.
1Cor. 15:50
John 20:26

his new home.

And it came to pass at the end of forty days,
that Noah opened the window of the ark
which he had made:
47. Jacob embalmed 40days … then
buried in Caanan.

given a season of respite from the devil. (13,
Rev. 20:2)(Luke 4:2)
• 40 days to preach after resurrection then
raptured out.
51. Dead saints souls reunited with glorified
bodies.
• (1Thess 4:14) For if we believe that Jesus died
and rose again, even so them also which sleep
in Jesus will God bring with him.
1st event is the dead
• (1Thess 4:15) For this we say unto you by the
word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not
prevent them which are asleep.
52. Dead ‘rise’ because they are laid in the ground.
• (1Thess 4:16) For the Lord himself shall
descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of
God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
54. • (1Cor 15:52) In a moment, in the twinkling of
an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
The living is till the ‘:’ we living get changed @
last trump. The dead change on the sound
(1st trump)
56. • 40 days a warning period before a great event
on Gods calendar.
• If a pre-event of a 40 day warnning happens
before rapture we who are alive can begin to
watch or look for it.
• God will get glory for the rapture of his saints
and ‘jump start’ the next dispensation as the 2
witnesses and the 144,000 confirm the events
that have already happened.
57. (Matt 24:14-15) And this gospel of the kingdom
shall be preached in all the world for a witness
unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let
him understand:)
The “ ( )” is for Jews who will now be reading
the New Testament.
