YouTube have launched Fan
Finder - a new initiative designed to
help creators introduce and
connect their channel to new fans.
To get standard just create and
upload a video introducing new
fans to your channel and then
submit it here to Fan Finder.
YouTube will turn your video into a
TrueView video ad and then
display the ad for free across
Youtube to connect you with brand
new fans.

You can now watch your favorite
videos and channels with the
YouTube app for Xbox One.
The app makes it easier to find and
watch whatever you want:
Voice - Control the app just by
saying "YouTube" wherever you
are in the app.
Gesture - Grab the screen to scroll
through videos, and use your hand
to pick which one you want to
watch.

TED’S ADS
WORTH SPREADING
YouTube is once again teaming up
with TED’s Ads Worth Spreading
initiative to celebrate the year’s
most creative and notable ads. The
award is given to the brands and
agencies creating innovative ads
that people can’t stop sharing.
As part of their involvement,
YouTube will be adding a viewer’s
choice component to the
nominated videos - ranking popular
videos based on the methodology
behind the YouTube Ads

YOUTUBE COMMENTS
Since launching the new comments
experience at the start of
November, there has been a lot of
creator feedback regarding spam.
YouTube are working to combat the
increase in spammy comments,
with updates so far including:
Better recognition of bad links and
impersonation attempts
Improved ASCII art detection
Changing how long comments are
displayed
