Open Apps. About the UOC
1.   Online University with a community of more than 60,000 students.
2.   We use the full potential of ICT to facilitate learning through life.
3.   The educational model is focused on the activity, students have support and
     collaborative tools and resources, to enable the development of group
     knowledge.

•    These three elements have generated educational experiences and
     innovative applications that successfully solve some of the challenges in
     online education.


                  > 60,876   students

                  > 3,385 virtual classrooms


                  > 3,364 teaching staff

Open Apps. What’s an App?
•   We use the term “Apps” as a synonym of both applications and experiences:
    Open Apps must be considered from a broad perspective, not limited to
    software. They may be products, services, methods and new experiences.

•   The applications and experiences available in the Open Apps platform have to
    meet certain requisites. They must:



     Be innovative.
     Be interoperable.
     Be open.
     Have been previously
     tested and used
