This document summarizes an information night about Advanced Placement (AP) courses at Squalicum High School. Over the past decade, AP course offerings and participation have greatly increased. The number of AP exams taken grew from 207 in 2007-2008 to over 1,100 in 2013-2014. AP pass rates at Squalicum are on par with state and global averages, showing the school's success in preparing diverse students for college-level work. The presentation encourages all students to challenge themselves with at least one AP course to improve their college and career prospects.
