1. An Introduction to Tarisa Tate The Colors of My Life

2. I am Tarisa Tate and I have been teaching high school English for 5 years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education and a Master’s degree in Adolescent Education. Before I started teaching, I worked in television advertising and then substituted in the schools my daughter attended.

3. Experience I taught at North Gwinnett High School for a year as a Bulldog !!! I taught 9th grade English to 5 classes. I taught at Flowery Branch High School for 4 years as a Falcon !!! I have taught 9th grade Literature and Composition, World Literature, American Literature , and British Literature.

5. Professional Goals Become a media specialist in a local school or college. Introduce students to the fun of literature and information through new technologies. Become an resource of new techniques and materials to help teachers and students reach their own goals. Remain a life-long learner as a model for the students I teach or mentor.

6. Hobbies I love going to any kind of sporting event with my family--football, baseball, or soccer. I love cruises and trips to the beach and mountains with my family. I love reading my Kindle anywhere I go. I love learning.
