Scholarships

o First Generation Scholar Award
NSCS will award (5) $1,000 scholarships to assist First Generation college
students in their journey to a degree.
o Merit Award
Each year NSCS awards $1,000 scholarships to thirty outstanding and
deserving new members across the country to help defray the cost of
tuition expenses.
3. o The Amy Shopkorn Student Affairs Award
Amy Shopkorn is a former NSCS employee. Two $1,000 awards are
granted to students who have created a positive impact on their campus
o Due to our Gold Membership Star Status from last year, our chapter is eligible to
grant one of our members with a $250 scholarship from the national office! Here's
what you need to do:
1. Type a 300 word, or fewer essays on why you feel you exemplify the
three pillars of NSCS within our chapter.
2. Email me your essay before October 8th (last day to send it in is the
7th) at clark3ns@cmich.edu.
