Present  Perfect Now, look at these sentences. They all describe activities that began in the past and still continue. 1.- I  have lived  in Monterrey since I was born.  2.- I  have been  in High School for 3 semesters.  3.- We  have studied  English since Junior High.  4.- My sister  has helped  me to keep practicing.  5.- She  has spoken  English all her life.
