The purpose of change management is to motivate and support the working force to accept a new method of dealing with their jobs. Change management can be a method, a change in structure, or a job responsibility which aims make each and every employee accept and embrace change in the organization by overhauling their behavior and actions. This component is the significance of change management: the manner of allowing the employees to move towards the successful execution of change that can eventually be valuable to the entire organization.
There must group or set of individuals who should be accountable in supporting and monitoring the employees while undergoing change management. The different level of the organizational structure from the top to bottom is the one responsible to efficiently operate the change system depending on the role they specifically play. method, a change in structure, or a job responsibility which aims make each and
every employee accept and embrace change in the organization by overhauling
their behavior and actions. This component is the significance of change
management: the manner of allowing the employees to move towards the
successful execution of change that can eventually be valuable to the entire
organization.
There must group or set of individuals who should be accountable in supporting
and monitoring the employees while undergoing change management. The
different level of the organizational structure from the top to bottom is the one
responsible to efficiently operate the change system depending on the role they
specifically play. In order to determine the role both the employees and the
management will play, it is imperative to utilize the five key elements that establish
the fundamental procedures for the people to accomplish the desired change. The
elements mentioned are the following:
• Awareness: The capacity to acknowledge the necessity for change
• Desire: The willingness to be motivated in order to support the changes
• Knowledge: The intellectual ability to administer change
• Ability: The capacity to execute and apply skill and behaviors needed for change
• Reinforcement: The capacity to maintain these changes
These factors, basically, mean that no one can simply send someone in a meeting
or formal schooling or any kind of training to gather expected results. It is about
how the organization can undergo the process mentions by broadening their
awareness and willingly accept their new roles to be played in achieving the
desired changes.
In order to establish these procedures inside the organization, it is imperative to
ensure that the management understands the relationship of the role of an
employee in accomplishing the desired changes. These is a situation where in the
CEO together with its supervisors are holding a meeting to discuss the compelling
steps of achieving the changes they wanted (Change Management Learning
Center, 2012).
