This document shows images of classrooms from 1893 to 2012, depicting how classrooms have changed over time. Early classrooms from 1893 and 1907 featured students sitting in rows of wooden desks facing the front of the classroom. Later images from 1952 and 1977 started incorporating more technology like projectors and typewriters. By 1985 computers began entering classrooms with the Apple IIe. Modern classrooms from 1992 and 2012 feature students using laptops and tablet computers for learning.
