A web quest for 5th grade social studies.
We are taking a trip to Mexico! We are looking for land
loving historians. We will discover the fascinating world
of Mexico. There are several hidden treasures just
waiting to be explored from the Ancient Aztec
pyramids, authentic foods and the fantastic shopping. If
you are interested in becoming part of a team then
quickly submit your name and you will be notified

2. The Task
You will be working with a partner to
explore and discover Mexico. Your assignment
is to explore the history and the culture of the
Mexico people. You will record all of the
information on the discovery journal.

1. Find a partner to take this adventure with and let Mrs.
Young know who your partner will be. You are now a top
notch explorer!
2. Follow the links provided and as you discover the variety of
information record it in you discovery journal.
3. Each link will bring you to a site that you will discover areas
of interest to go sightseeing. Use the discovery journal as a
guide to what information should be recorded.
4. After your mission, your team will create a travel brochure
that will be displayed in the classroom.
5. The brochure should include all of the information that you
gather during your mission to Mexico.
