This classroom project focuses on teaching students about places in their country. The project will have 5 hours of activities including describing posters of places, listening exercises to learn city names, and watching videos of important locations to pick out new vocabulary. The general objective is to learn new adjectives and vocabulary about the country to use in real situations. Specific objectives are to recognize places from charts, improve speaking through poster descriptions, and create contexts to use the vocabulary. Tools to be used include charts, computers, videos, tape recorders, and dictionaries. Values of responsibility, collaboration, solidarity, cooperation, security, and love of country will also be emphasized. Videos will be shown three times to identify new words, have discussions, and write summaries
